Who we are:

The Upper Ridge is comprised of residents living on the Upper Ridge, including the communities of Old Magalia to Stirling City.

Mission:

To provide wildfire safety on the Upper Ridge through education and hazard mitigation.

Meetings:

Spring:    April 12, 2010 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the PPOA Racine Center, 14211 Wycliff Way, Magalia, CA
Summer:  June 14, 2010 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the PPOA Racine Center, 14211 Wycliff Way, Magalia, CA
Fall:         October 11, 2010 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the PPOA Racine Center, 14211 Wycliff Way, Magalia, CA
Winter:    January 10, 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the PPOA Racine Center, 14211 Wycliff Way, Magalia, CA

Volunteer Opportunities:

Projects, programs and committees: Free Chipper Program, Fire Safe Home Visits (free education packets & one-on-one consultations by trained volunteers), Shaded Fuel Break Projects, Evacuation Planning, Mapping, Publicity & Information Kiosks, Residents Assistance Program, Sixth Grade Education Program, and Fall Festival.
